Erectile dysfunction medications seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medications have been seized by Department of throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications via the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was performed by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: "It is essential that we get the message across that unlicensed medications can be hazardous.
"These kinds of items being sold, normally online, have actually gone through no quality control and there can be no assurance about their security.
"You merely do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the impact drugs like this might have on your health."
